MH Food Group offers all the tools necessary to create great food with our customers and supply partners. Working together with our customers from the ground floor of a project allows us to generate ideas driven by consumer insights that become culinary-inspired products in the marketplace.
By working with our customers, we come to understand their consumers, their strategies, and their growth plans. This allows us to create customized ideas and, ultimately, products to fill their needs rather than just showing products that may or may not have relevance to what they are trying to accomplish.
We turn these culinary-inspired recipes into kitchen samples. After these samples are tested for manufacturing efficiency in one of our Manufacturing Partners Pilot Plant, the product moves into full production at a cost that creates value for our customer. Working together means getting great new products to the marketplace in the shortest time possible. That means our consumers get new delicious products they love and at a price they can afford, whether they buy them in the supermarket, or at their favorite restaurant.
Food innovation is at the forefront of our efforts to create quality products that taste great and help our customers and consumers save time and money. We bring unequaled expertise to this innovation process.
We currently have 45 Research Chef Association Certified Culinologists on staff, with more in training. This culinary training program helps our product development team build a well-rounded understanding of both the culinary aspect and commercial viability of making a new food product so we can offer products that consumers and customers will love. But consumers also want to eat healthy, and many want to reduce the amount of saturated fat, sodium, and trans fat in their diet. So, we have four professionals at the MH Food Group with dietetic degrees who specialize in human nutrition and apply their expertise to product research and development. By tapping into their knowledge, we are creating a culture of health-and-wellness awareness when it comes to product development.
We all must play a part in keeping our food safe. In this section, you can find more information about certifications or other customer resources and learn more about handling food safely whether in your business or at home.
Most customers require their suppliers to undergo at least one food safety audit annually. The audits can be expensive and time consuming, but we want our customers and our consumers to know that we work hard to keep our commitment to making great food safe. The audits give us rigorous feedback to help fine tune our food safety practices. Customer audits performed by third parties are one way we help grow our customers’ and consumers’ confidence.
